The higher the count (commonly known as “high count”), the finer the yarn and the more yarns are arranged per square inch. Therefore, the higher the density of the same count, the better, and the higher count is more than 60. High-count can be high-density, which is what we often hear about “high-count and high-density” fabrics.

Cotton bedding looks bright because there is a process called mercerizing. After the cotton fabric is treated with concentrated caustic soda, the hair on the surface of the fabric is melted, the fibers in the yarn shrink, and then the caustic soda is washed away.
Because the shape of the cotton fiber changes, the reflection of light becomes more regular, the surface of the cotton fiber becomes very shiny, and the hand feels silky, delicate, and soft!
However, the quality of the fabric cannot be expressed in the singular. The higher the count, the finer the yarn and the texture of wool will indeed be more delicate. However, yarns that are too thin are extremely difficult to produce and easily break. Therefore, do not blindly choose high counts.
The hotel’s linen standard is 100% cotton, mainly white, with a smooth surface, good air permeability, no defects, and no stains.
a) One or two stars: the yarn count is more than 20s, the warp and weft density cannot be lower than 6060.
b) Three-star: yarn count 20s, warp, and weft density not less than 6060.
c) Four or five-star: yarn count not less than 32s, warp, and weft density not less than 6080.
